Face ID Repair in Anand
Face ID is the repair most shops in the area will not take on, and there is a reason for that: it usually cannot be fixed by swapping a part.
Why it is not a parts job
The Face ID module is paired to your specific phone at the factory. The dot projector, flood illuminator and infrared camera are cryptographically matched to the Secure Enclave on your motherboard. Fitting a Face ID module from another phone does not work — the phone rejects it, and you get "Face ID is not available on this iPhone" no matter how good the donor part was.
That is why a shop that only replaces parts has nothing to offer you here. The repair has to be done on the original module and the original board.
What actually fails
- The flood illuminator — the most common failure by a wide margin. Face ID stops working in the dark first, then entirely.
- The dot projector, damaged by a drop or by heat during a previous screen repair
- The flex cable, torn or pinched during an earlier screen replacement — we see this a lot on phones repaired elsewhere
- Solder joints on the board, cracked by an impact
- Moisture damage to the circuit
If Face ID stopped working immediately after a screen replacement somewhere else, the flex cable is the first thing we check. It is a common and repairable outcome.
How we repair it
The work is done at board and module level under the microscope — repairing the original circuit rather than replacing it. Depending on the fault that can mean repairing a torn flex, reflowing or replacing a failed component on the module, or repairing damaged pads on the board itself.
It is careful work and it takes longer than most repairs. It is also the kind of job that has kept people from replacing an otherwise perfect phone.
Be aware of the limits
We will be straight with you: not every Face ID fault is recoverable. If the Secure Enclave itself has been damaged, or a previous repair attempt has destroyed the module, the honest answer is that it cannot be brought back. We diagnose first and tell you which situation you are in before you commit to anything.
Bring the phone in, or message us on WhatsApp and tell us what happened before it stopped — dropped, got wet, or stopped after a screen repair. That history genuinely narrows down where to look.
